Join the Mothers of Mixed Martial Arts (MoMMA) defense program at Lake Travis Jiu Jitsu Club. MoMMA is designed for women to increase flexibility and cardio while understanding coordinated movements and technique for self-defense. The practice of self-Defense is not only physical but also a situational and intellectual process that will benefit and enrich your life.
After a focused stretch, we discuss unique scenarios that require threat assessment and responses. We then move into technique that not only prepares you to engage in defensive tactics but will also give you a physical workout.
This program combines the combative arts of Hapkido, Judo, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. You will learn to employ striking, kicking (Kickboxing), joint locks, trapping, throws and grappling. We will also learn to defend against and utilize weapons such as knives, sticks and firearms.
Stay active, flexible and ready to adapt physically and psychologically to any circumstance.
